We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Recruiting Lead to join OP Labs. The Recruiting Lead will be responsible for leading and managing a team of four recruiters and one recruiting coordinator focused on attracting and hiring top technical talent in the Ethereum L2 space. This role is critical to our mission of building a world-class team that will drive the next wave of innovation in scaling Ethereum.
What are the role responsibilities?
- Partner with senior leadership on all aspects of the hiring process and headcount planning.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team full lifecycle recruiters to meet the needs of our ambitious hiring plans.
- Be accountable for overall team goals in line with industry benchmarks.
- Measure and cascade recruiting reporting on a weekly/monthly/quarterly cadence, and make decisions informed by data.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruiting efforts.
- Help ensure your team is structured to ensure we are aligned to adequately support the business and flexible to changing business priorities and market conditions.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top technical talent.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition, especially within the crypto space.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize the recruitment process.
- Support recs on a case-by-case basis—i.e. work on some senior-level hires such as Head of or VP level roles.
What skills do you bring?
- 12+ years of experience in recruiting, with at least 5+ years in a people management role.
- Experience building and managing inclusive and diverse teams.
- Proven experience in recruiting niche technical and executive talent, preferably within the crypto or blockchain industry.
- Deep knowledge across the entire candidate lifecycle, from talent mapping, research, sourcing, interviewing, to closing.
- Experience working closely with senior leadership.
- Track record of building and coaching high performing recruiting teams.
- Proven data guided approach to decision making.
- Proven ability to think strategically and proactively.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Deep understanding of the technical landscape and the specific challenges of recruiting in the crypto space.
- High level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
