Teller Finance is seeking a proactive, high energy Community Manager to join our rapidly expanding team! Teller is paving the way in the DeFi space through data-driven, unsecured lending and borrowing and we invite you to be a part of this exciting journey!
As Community Manager you will have the ability to inspire and educate community members on how we interact with DeFi and unlock lending opportunities currently only available in traditional financial markets. We are seeking an outgoing, proactive communicator that has the ability to not only respond to support questions, but also start conversations using content from within and outside the Teller ecosystem.
A successful Community Manager at Teller is sharply focused on retaining existing community members through thoughtful engagement as well as welcoming new members through onboarding and inclusive dialogue.
At Teller we celebrate self-starters who work effectively in a decentralized, agile environment and find creative solutions when faced with blockers. You will be working with a fully remote team of talented individuals who are currently building the future of DeFi.

Qualifications
- Experience managing discord servers
- Past experience writing copy in a public facing communications role such as customer service, social media, PR, or brand marketing
- General knowledge of blockchain technology or finance
Bonus points
- Personal experience trading, lending, or borrowing crypto assets
- Content creation for social media (memes, blogs, how to’s, tutorials)
- Experience or knowledge of working with DAOs
General Responsibilities
- Answer support questions in a timely, welcoming, and professional manner
- Ability to not only respond to questions, but also spark relevant conversations
- Actively engage the community with relevant content from within and outside the Teller ecosystem
- Support team members with online event planning and moderation including AMA’s
- Contribute to FAQ bank and community insights each week
