Lead Digital Designer
We’re in search of a Lead Digital Designer who is exceptional in their work and creative skills, and who is willing to put in a great deal of time and effort on the front end, turning out design and prototype work themselves for 3-6 months, and is willing and capable to transition that early work and experience into a leadership role once we close our seed round later this year.
Our design >
Months 1-3 will be focused on turning out work weekly, and sometimes daily as we finalize and upgrade our mobile app, web apps, websites, product marketing materials, etc. You will be working directly with our CXO day-to-day to determine what projects to work on sequentially, and to establish direction and vibe such that, once nailed down, they can be utilized and extrapolated from for future products and projects.
The second 1-3 months will be focused on preparing the position for new hires as we grow our team. You will have the opportunity to ladder up and take a managerial or VP role within the company to help additional design team members understand our design and experience philosophy after you will have lived it yourself by turning out real work for your first few months with SELF ID.
Requirements
- Experience in Sketch App for design (Figma or other also acceptable but Sketch is preferred strongly)
- Experience with interface design
- Experience with interaction and experience design and view that these are intrinsically linked to interface
- Experience in motion prototyping via Adobe After Effects (or similar, but After Effects preferred strongly)
- Ability to be flexible with direction, taking ideas and feedback from directs and creating output that reflects those inputs
- Ability to think through difficult problems re: app and user flows and coming up with potential solutions without the need for hours of discussion, etc

A web3 designer is responsible for creating user-friendly and visually appealing designs for websites that are built on the web3 platform
This platform is based on blockchain technology and allows for the creation of decentralized applications (dApps) that can be accessed through a web browser
A web3 designer would be responsible for creating the user interface and user experience for these dApps, ensuring that they are easy to use and navigate
They would also be responsible for ensuring that the overall design of the dApps is consistent with the brand and aesthetic of the organization or individual that is building the dApps.
