Reach’s vision is to bring blockchain to the world by unlocking its feasibility, practicality, and usefulness for the masses. We are making blockchain mainstream. Reach is a programming language and specialized compiler that allows full-stack developers to build decentralized applications at a fraction of the cost, complexity, and time. We are drastically reducing the barrier to entry into blockchain development and are on our way to becoming the central platform developers use to build on blockchain. Our goal is to become the lens through which the world understands the value of decentralization.

  • Masters if not a PhD in Economics
  • 5+ years of experience building economies for video games, preferably large and complex projects such as F2P or MMO games

What does an Economy Designer in Web3 do?

An economy designer in web3 is someone who designs and builds the economic structures and mechanisms for decentralized applications (dApps) on a blockchain

This can include things like creating and managing digital assets, implementing mechanisms for buying and selling those assets, and developing algorithms for pricing and valuation

The economy designer's responsibilities may also include conducting market research to understand the needs and preferences of users, and using that information to inform the design of the dApp's economy

In general, the economy designer plays a crucial role in ensuring the success and sustainability of the dApp by creating an economic framework that aligns the incentives of all participants.
