Role Overview
We are looking for a Head of Marketing who will be responsible for crafting and executing our marketing and brand strategy. As the first formal hire in this function, you will work closely with the CEO to build our strategy and processes, driving brand awareness, visibility, and adoption of the MagicBlock Engine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute our marketing strategy. Come up with new ideas for campaigns and coordinate strategic announcements with our partners.
- Social Media Management: Manage and grow the @magicblock X account and upcoming projects. Oversee graphic creation when outsourced.
- Content Strategy: Develop a content strategy, write threads, technical articles, and blog posts to engage our target audiences.
- Brand Management: develop and refine our brand messaging, ensuring consistency across our website/socials/documentation.
- Community Engagement: Create campaigns for our community to increase engagement.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 2 years in the crypto industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology and a regular web3 user.
