Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced System Architect to join our team and design and oversee the architecture of our layer 2 zkEVM operator. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in distributed systems and a proven track record in designing testable and highly available systems. Experience in open source software development and blockchain technology are a huge plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design of the architecture of our layer 2 zkEVM operator, ensuring it meets performance, scalability, testability and security requirements;
• Work closely with other teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure the architecture is aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Contribute to a culture of quality and test-driven developments;
• Ensure that the system design is globally consistent;
• Develop and maintain documentation and diagrams of the architecture, including component relationships, data flows, and system interfaces.
• Act as a technical advisor and subject-matter expert on system architecture and related technologies.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in distributed systems;
• Track record in designing testable mission-critical systems;
• Experience in open source software;
• Experience designing and overseeing the architecture of large-scale, complex systems
• Strong understanding of system performance, scalability, and security principles
• Experience with GoLang, Java, or similar programming languages
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

The salary range for US-based candidates only will be determined throughout the interview process depending on experience and skills. Candidates should anticipate a base salary (not including bonus, equity or other benefits) of $USD[$176,000 - $366,000]
