Figment is creating the command center for developers interacting with Web 3. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will focus on integrating new blockchain protocols and services in our development platform and you will build tools that will complement the access to those protocols. Your role will be to help developers unlock the full potential of Web 3 protocols by making them more accessible and more usable.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Design, build and maintain highly scalable and reliable infrastructure, APIs, and services
- Integrate new protocols & services into DataHub
- Design and develop developer tools on top of added protocols & services
- Contribute to systems design
- Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
- Collaborate with other engineers and PMs
Qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience designing, building, scaling and maintaining core backend software components (experience with API platforms is a must)
- Ability to solve complex design, scaling, latency, or performance problems in high-throughput, low-latency systems
- Ability to master new technologies quickly and lead app development from architectural design to deployment
- Experience with Kong Gateway and AWS technologies is a plus
- Experience developing with Ruby on Rails (Golang is a plus)
- Experience with production distributed systems, web applications, and service oriented architectures
- Proven track record building highly available and highly scalable systems
- Passion for blockchain technologies a plus
