Position Overview:
Telcoin Network is seeking a highly skilled Protocol Engineer to join our innovative team. As a Protocol Engineer at Telcoin, you will play a critical role in the development and enhancement of our blockchain protocol, with a specific focus on async Rust. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of blockchain protocols and experience with concurrent Rust programming. However, candidates who are unfamiliar and willing to learn Rust are also encouraged to apply for this position!
Responsibilities:
- Enhance and implement new features for Telcoin Network’s blockchain protocol using an asynchronous Rust runtime, with a focus on Ethereum, Polygon, and other EVM chains.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to architect, develop, and deploy scalable and secure protocol upgrades.
- Conduct research and contribute to the continuous improvement of Telcoin's blockchain protocol.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for an open-source community.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in blockchain technology and integrate relevant innovations into Telcoin Network's protocol.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in software engineering, with a preference on Rust programming (C++, Golang, Java, etc also accepted).
- Deep understanding of EVM-based blockchain protocols.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, cryptography, and networking protocols.
- Previous experience with open-source blockchain protocols is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts effectively.
