- Enhance the developer experience of Checkout to ensure that there are no hurdles to game studios wanting to build with Immutable
- Design and implement high-performance systems that allow game studios to sell millions of dollars of assets during a big game launch
- Integrate on-chain features such as wallet connections, transaction submission, smart contract development and deployment
- Own the reporting of data from products and conduct analysis to identify areas of future iteration
- Gain exposure working in a Web3 development environment, including regular workshops and learning opportunities for blockchain development
- Be part of a collaborative team environment
- Work in an experimental environment, learning from customer feedback and iterating on products
- Work closely with your team members to ensure operational excellence for the services your team owns

We'd Love You To Bring 🤝:
- Expertise in either Go or Typescript is highly desirable
- Candidates with extensive experience in other Backend languages such as Java or Kotlin should also be considered
- The ability to write clean, efficient, testable and maintainable code is essential.
- Confidence in owning CI/CD workflows
- Extensive experience with cloud-based deployments and associated monitoring (AWS lambda, SQS, eventbridge, RDS, Docker, New Relic monitoring)
- I have a track record of moving the needle in high-pressure environments
- Previous experience working in high-velocity teams with broad domain ownership is critical
- Fast decision-making and being comfortable and confident enough to move quickly
- Ability to design scalable and robust system architectures, making informed decisions about data modelling, API design, and the overall structure of the backend systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A passion for working collaboratively as a team, with extensive experience with pair programming
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and services
