Senior Platform Engineer - Internal Tooling About the Platform Team Our Platform team empowers all of our internal teams by providing the tools and practices they need to be autonomous. Our team’s mission and responsibilities are:

🚀Automation & Enablement: Build and own internal tools and platforms that empower teams to build and automate with confidence. 🌐 System Scalability & Reliability: Evolve and maintain robust systems that scale with our growth, ensuring seamless and reliable workflows. 🔧 Architecture & Technical Excellence: Drive architectural best practices that optimise performance, scalability, and maintainability. 🤖 Quality & Observability: Improve insights with observability, and embed quality as a core principle throughout the organization.

This is a hands-on role on the Platform team where you will build tools, lead initiatives, and collaborate with people across teams to deliver intuitive and effective internal systems.  What you’ll be doing 

Work with a combination of internally developed tools and third-party solutions, including Retool and other AI-powered services, to deliver scalable and efficient internal systems. Rapidly prototype and build internal tools for a variety of functions across the company. Work closely with internal users to uncover pain points and inefficiencies in their daily workflows to drive impactful improvements. Participate in the on-call rotation and help ensure it remains sustainable for the team.

Who we’re looking for 

🌟 5+ years of experience in an Full Stack engineering, Internal Tooling, or Platform Engineering role with a proven track record of delivering impactful improvements. Deep understanding of process engineering, system design, and optimising workflows. Passion for improving efficiency and driving measurable business outcomes through technical excellence.

Bonus points

Experience with technologies like Kubernetes, Datadog, AWS Cloud, PostgreSQL, Terraform, ArgoCD, and Node.js. Background in building FinTech infrastructure or understanding the unique challenges in this space. Passion for improving internal developer documentation and knowledge sharing. Familiarity with Bitcoin and excitement to learn more. A curated folder of Safe-for-Work reaction memes to keep the team laughing.
