Based on the DLT law that came into force in Switzerland in 2021, we enable companies to issue their shares on the blockchain and make them tradable via their own website.

Tasks

  • Take full development responsibility of our Android application and its development lifecycle
  • Work directly with the CTO to take over and improve the Android codebase
  • Work with client teams to understand and analyze business requirements, propose possible solution approaches and estimate implementation effort
  • Research and use other existing non-custodial wallet software to discover and propose best practices and user experience improvements
  • Understand and improve web3 – mobile interactions, working both with our own API and also with smart contracts on blockchain as backend.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in developing Android applications that are live on the Play Store
  • Excellent skills in developing both using Java and Kotlin, able to use a combination of both in a project. Our main Android code is in Java.
  • Solid knowledge on Android design patterns and best-in-class libraries such as Google Services, Jetpack, Firebase, Retrofit…
  • Able to deliver clear and concise code, that is well-architected, readable, well-commented, tested and respects internal coding conventions.
  • Able to understand and work on an existing project, without the need of rewriting existing functionality on own >
  • Experience in working with Android Studio, Gradle, GitHub.
  • Understanding of the Android software stack and its security model.
  • Understanding, or interest, in the crypto ecosystem, mobile wallets, web3 libraries, direct smart contract interactions.
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English. German is a plus.
