About the Role
Â
ZetaChain is looking for a Sr. Product Designer to help lead design efforts around ZetaChain’s core products. This role offers a unique blend of creativity, innovation, and fun, allowing you to work across multiple domains, including product design, UX and strategy to help the team continue to build great products. You’ll also be working with other members of the team across timezones and continents to collaboratively develop ideas, get feedback from, and continuously improve our products.
Â
What You’ll Do:
Â
- Help Lead Product Design: Take ownership of designing web3 products that delight users, solve for complex business and development needs while challenging the current crypto norms.
- Dynamic Feature Design: Work on new and existing features that are unique to web3 to enhance our products and bring value for our users at scale.
- Full Product Lifecycle: Design products and features from the ground up, including feature branding, prototyping and iteration.
- Collaborative Development: Partner closely with product and engineering teams to design great products and help bring the designs to life throughout development and implementation.
- Research & UX: Conduct UX research to identify user needs, improve experiences, and ensure products meet real-world requirements.
- Ecosystem Guidance: Occasionally advise and collaborate with ecosystem apps on product design and branding to align with ZetaChain’s mission.
What Excites You:
Â
- Creativity & Exploring the Unknown: You enjoy working on dynamic experiences and enjoy exploring product ideas and directions that have little to no definition to start.
- Design Ownership: You like to wear many hats and want to own product designs from concept to completion while helping to build upon or set new creative and branding standards for our products.
- User-Centric Focus: You understand how to design products with multiple user archetypes, have a strong intuition for user behavior and design with accessibility and range of experience in mind.
- Improving Web3 UX: You have strong opinions, loosely held, on web3 product design and onboarding with fresh ideas for improvement. You imagine new standards that are not copy and paste of today’s crypto UX.
What We Look For:
Â
- A strong portfolio showcasing beautiful design, strategic thinking, and a systematic and scalable approach to designing end-to-end experiences that serves user needs and business goals.
- Professional design experience with excellence in UX, visual design, and written communication.
- Experience with creating new and building upon an established iconography and Illustration design language with range to create net new content.
- Experience leading design projects from ideation to launch and beyond with cross-functional teams.
- Experience setting design direction for consumer-facing products for web and mobile.
- Experience working in a collaborative environment with other designers, engineers, product teams, marketers, legal and business teams.
- Proven experience transforming complexity into simplicity, and creating order from uncertainty or ambiguity.
- Technical understanding and/or the ability to break down complex, technical concepts into intuitive UX and designs.
- Experience prototyping and testing your designs.
- Fluency in the typical design tools, including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Design Depth and Range - Comfort with strategy, UX, visual design, prototyping, illustration, motion design, business strategy acumen, storytelling, etc.
Nice to Have:
Â
- Experience working in a design agency or product company on consumer, social, gaming or rewards products and programs.
- Experience with user testing, distilling feedback into actionable items and iterating products based on it.
- You’ve worked on new products from idea to launch before.
