BlockFi is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Onboarding to join our Product team!
About Your Team
Our Product Management team works remotely and is regionally distributed. The User Journeys product team works cross functionally with Marketing, Design, Engineering and Analytics to create the easiest user experience for investors to buy, sell, and earn cryptocurrency. Our team grows BlockFi’s audience by obsessively analyzing acquisition, activation, engagement and retention data and along with qualitative feedback to ensure we continuously prioritize the voice of the customer and deliver the right value proposition. We are looking for a Product-Leader who is a proponent of reliability, passionate about the FinTech/Cryptocurrency landscape, and has experience leading high-performing, adaptable teams
Your Mission
As Senior Product Manager for Onboarding, you are responsible for driving a significant aspect of the BlockFi strategy. This role represents the lifeblood for growth for BlockFi, improving conversion and activation rates, improving the NPS scores in the early stage segment and differentiating our digital capabilities from our competition.
The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of key elements to commercial onboarding (KYC, AML) and must have an ability to define technical requirements for our engineering teams to deliver a breakthrough experience.
Product Managers at BlockFi thrive in a fast-paced environment and are excited to work with a high performing, cross functional team of Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, Data Scientists, and Client Service Associates to challenge the status-quo every day.
Responsibilities
- Take a hard look at how to operationalize the process for onboarding individual and business clients. This includes providing recommendations for future improvements.
- Set product strategy, own the product roadmap KPIs, and lead the execution to improve the onboarding journey that creates efficiency and innovation that enables faster time to value for clients.
- Build and lead a team of product managers focused on building new experiences, features and tools .
- Monitor product performance, user & client feedback to drive better product decisions.
- Lead user research, benchmarking, experimentation and drive insights to build a world class onboarding infrastructure and experience.
Your Expertise
- 7+ years of Product Management experience; FinTech experience highly preferred
- 3+ years’ experience in leading Growth product management initiatives; onboarding, activation, etc.
- Professional presence and ability to manage across all levels in the organization
- Solid grasp of market dynamics in the subject areas and keen ability to assimilate and deploy the best practices
- Maintain composure and tact under pressure
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesize and communicate complex information effectively
- Individual works autonomously with ongoing supervision from manager and leadership
- Prioritization of features in product roadmap in partnership with technology, then execution
- Successfully apply structured and critical thinking to ambiguous problems (small, fast-moving initiatives or large, multi-dependency initiatives). Use data to prove or disprove hypotheses and inform solutions set
