Wealthfront Career-Launching Company  Figure Series D Announcement About the Role We’re seeking a seasoned capital markets attorney with deep expertise in structured finance, securitization, and forward flow transactions. In this role, you’ll lead the legal execution of Figure’s capital markets strategy and play a key role in our relationships with lenders, investors, and rating agencies. You'll also support our innovative use of blockchain technology to modernize the capital markets infrastructure. What You’ll Do

Lead the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of forward flow, warehouse, and securitization agreements for Figure products including HELOCs and closed-end mortgages Collaborate with Finance and Capital Markets teams to build and execute financing structures, including blockchain-based securitizations Manage relationships and negotiations with investors, rating agencies, lenders, and other capital markets participants Provide legal guidance on compliance and regulatory matters related to asset-backed securitizations and structured finance transactions Support Figure’s strategic initiatives to enhance capital markets efficiency through blockchain technology and tokenized assets

What We Look For

J.D. and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar 8+ years of experience in capital markets and structured finance at a top law firm; experience in-house at a fintech, bank, or issuer a plus Expertise in loan securitizations, warehouse financing, and loan sale transactions; experience in the residential loan space a plus Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills with a track record of managing complex deals Proactive, self-directed mindset with strong commercial judgment and a solutions-oriented approach Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and work cross-functionally across teams Interest or experience in blockchain applications within capital markets is a plus

Salary

Compensation Range: $212,520-$265,650/yr 25% annual bonus target, paid quarterly  Equity stock options package This is the compensation range for the United States, actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience, location, or evolving business needs
