AlphaGrep is a proprietary trading firm focused on quantitative research and investing in several asset classes across the globe. We are a team of 200 engineers, mathematicians and statisticians spread across our offices in India (Mumbai, Bangalore, Gurgaon), Singapore, Shanghai, London, Chicago, Paris and Sydney. We use a disciplined and systematic quantitative approach to identify factors that consistently generate alpha. These factors are then coupled with our proprietary ultra-low latency trading systems and robust risk management to develop trading strategies across asset classes (equities, commodities, currencies, fixed income) that trade on global exchanges.
We have recently started trading digital assets on centralized and decentralized exchanges, and are looking to expand aggressively in this space.
We are also looking to invest at an early stage in blockchain/Web3 projects, become validators for new projects and market makers for their tokens, and are also exploring launching our own Web3 projects. We are looking for experienced blockchain developers to join the team to focus on these efforts.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, and test blockchain projects
- Evaluate external blockchain projects for venture/seed stage investment by the firm
- Be involved in the global blockchain community
- Keeping up with current blockchain technologies and cryptography methods.
Qualifications
- Computer, software engineering, mathematics or information technology related majors, with
more than 2 years of relevant work experience - Familiar with at least one programming language among Solidity, Go, C/C++ and Rust, and
have good programming skills and programming habits; - 2+ years of exp building solutions on blockchain platforms bitcoin, Ethereum, solana,
cosmos or terra - Smart contract programming using Solidity, Python, C++, Rust, etc.
- Familiar with basic cryptography, P2P networks, linux,
- Strong knowledge of concurrency and writing efficient and safe multithreaded code
- Strong curiosity and independent thinking ability, strong learning ability, and strong ability to
accept new things.
