The Role
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable distributed systems that process vast amounts of financial data.Emphasize coding best practices, ensuring our systems are robust, efficient, and maintainable.Collaborate closely with data teams to ensure our systems align with data needs and quality standards.Engage in rigorous code reviews, challenging and learning from your peers to ensure the highest quality code.Translate complex macroeconomic concepts into functional, efficient code to provide nuanced, accurate financial insights.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience).5+ years of professional experience with Python, with a strong emphasis on systems design and architecture.Deep understanding of database design, implementation, and performance tuning.Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud platforms.Proven track record of developing and maintaining large-scale applications.
Preferred Qualifications
