SCOPE OF THE ROLE
Role and Responsibilities
- Support the development of strategic projects aimed at driving growth and profitability across new and existing business lines.
- Assist in execution of the COO / Business Management strategic objectives
- Work with the Business Manager team to deliver processes and operational excellence removing blockers to business success
- This is a varied role which will involve working across many different areas within the business. Initial projects will include improvements to the reverse due diligence process, assisting the development and design of the process and owning areas of its delivery.
- Assist in the preparation of various reports, presentations, research papers, and internal reviews.
- Assist with budgeting, reporting, deck presentations, and project management.
- Coordinate meetings and workshops, tracking actions and escalating issues as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between various departments including Trading, IT, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, HR, Change Management, and PR/Marketing.
- Support operational risk management efforts as required.
- Undertake additional duties as needed to meet the demands of the business.
- Foster strong relationships with team members and senior management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
