We are seeking a proactive and flexible Business Development Specialist with a strong background in web3/crypto and finance. This transversal role will involve working across multiple areas, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development or in a sales role, with a focus on attracting and negotiating with HNWIs and KOLs whilst engaging in cross-selling opportunities with the other arms of the Commercial team which are Listing (listing of new tokens on the SwissBorg app), Alpha (Venture Capital arm of SwissBorg also known as Alpha) and Earn (yield generation service).

It is required for the candidate to reside in either in Milan, Lugano or Venice.

What you might be doing:

    • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing users, key opinion leaders (KOLs), HNWIs, family offices, etc. with the aim to increase the adoption of the SwissBorg ecosystem across Europe. Leverage any existing contact to benefit SwissBorg’s strategic goals.
    • Cross-Selling: Identify cross-selling opportunities that contribute to the strategic growth of SwissBorg and collaborate with the rest of the Commercial team to turn those opportunities into actual revenue streams for SwissBorg.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and drive business objectives.
    • Market Analysis: Proactively identify and share trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive landscape within the web3 and finance industries.
    • Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to management on business development activities, progress, and results.

What you might look like:

    • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in a business development or sales role. Previous experience within the web3, blockchain, or financial sectors is a must.
    • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), and the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem.
    • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
    • Networking Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including an existing network of industry contacts.
    • Proactive Mindset: Ability to take initiative and to own a process from start to finish.
    • Emotional Intelligence: High emotional intelligence with strong relationship management skills.
    • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA) is a plus.
    • Passion: Genuine interest in the future of finance and the role of web3 in transforming traditional financial systems.
