Paxful is searching for a Tech lead who is great at both hands-on building web applications and managing a small development team to lead our Dev Console Team. This role will contribute to develop new features in Dev Console to bring it to a new level of experience for ISVs.
As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will entail:
- Design architecture before implementation of new complex features or services
- Mentor other teammates and help them solve tasks on design and code review stages
- Write simple but efficient, testable, and reusable code
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Work closely with stakeholders on product features
- Be responsible for a feature end-to-end, from ideation to deployment in the production environment
- Help to troubleshoot, test and maintain the product
The most important skill and capabilities for this role are:
- 3+ years on the position of TeamLead/TechLead/Architect
- 8+ years of the commercial web development (Python/JS/React)
- Strong knowledge and skills in Python 3.8+
- Hands-on experience of building public API/SDK for your product
- Experience with one of frameworks FastAPI/Django/Flask
- Experience with ReactJS, Redux, Typescript
- Good knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
- Experience of building distributed applications using RabbitMQ, Kafka or other message buses
- Experience with microservices
- Good understanding of security threats and “security by design” principles
- Good verbal and written English
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Working with the high-load systems
- Experience with NoSQL databases - MongoDB
- Experience with AWS and knowledge of AWS architecture patterns
- Interest in cryptocurrencies
