We are looking for an experienced Cosmos/Tendermint Ecosystem Lead to join our rapidly growing team.
The Cosmos/Tendermint Ecosystem Lead is the advocate of the protocol and its ecosystem within Blockdaemon and the liaison to the community and our partners. The Lead is deeply rooted within the Cosmos/Tendermint ecosystem and aligned with its mission and values while being able to reflect trade-offs and value propositions compared to other protocols. The candidate will use his expertise in a highly cross-functional manner to e.g. help sales and marketing, connect engineering with the ecosystem and facilitate existing and new partnerships with the corporate development team. Representation and networking at conferences and ecosystem events is a key part of the role.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Be the go-to person for information on the Cosmos/Tendermint protocol and its ecosystem
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the protocol, including network updates, important details, development, etc.
• Possess a strong technical understanding of the protocol incl. its cross-chain use cases; use this knowledge to keep the internal teams informed
• Drive Blockdaemon’s community engagement with the protocol team and community; involved in various communication channels
• Write content or give presentations related to various protocol insights, infrastructure, trends, etc.
• Representation and networking at conferences and ecosystem events
• Drive existing and new partnerships with in the ecosystem and facilitate potential grants
• Provide input to product development, e.g. Ubiquity API
• Relate key governance, parameters, design changes, and latest technical & liquidity trends to Protocol Research team
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills and Required Qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
• Bachelor’s degree in Bachelor's = Business, Finance, Engineering, or another quantitative field
• 5+ Years of experience
• Blockchain experience is required in the Cosmos/Tendermint ecosystem specifically

• Possesses an exceptional work ethic and strong interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
• Ability to effectively think through a lot of threads of information and projects at the same time, connect the dots and pick the right strategy to move the best business opportunities forward
• Able to prioritize work, pivot as necessary and meet deadlines
