Telcoin is expanding rapidly and currently operates in 9 countries with the ambition to launch in many more. We are a team of telecom executives, startup veterans, finance professionals, all-star developers and blockchain specialists looking for a Software engineer in the greater Los Angeles area to serve as a core contributor to the backend development of Telcoin’s existing core remittance platform and digital wallet.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the backend development of Telcoin’s existing core remittance platform and digital wallet.
- Contribute to the solution’s end-to-end architecture (primarily involving Rust development)
- Interface with blockchain, UI, Android, iOS, and partner API integrations.
- Integrate external, third party financial systems and/or banks into the Telcoin platform.
Required Experience:
- 1-2 years of production experience in Rust, C++, or another strongly typed language
- Proficiency with Rust programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms preferred
- Experience with SQL and its variation among popular databases
- Strong ability to meet project milestones and ability to work with teams in different time zones
- Translating software requirements into stable, working, high-performing software
- Writing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code
- Good written and oral communication skills
