As an Asset and Protocol Research Analyst, you will conduct deep structured research on top cryptoassets and protocols. This position is the perfect opportunity to enter the crypto research space and learn from one of the industry’s leading research teams. Analysts will produce reports based on an internally created template and cover 1-3 protocols or assets per week and assist in peer review of reports from other team members.

This is an entry-level position that will allow you to gain exposure to multiple facets of the research process and industry. Analysts will also write thematic research, take part in client calls, and work with other teams at Teragon after six months in the role. Location is not a concern.

Responsibilities

• Provide research reports on cryptoassets and protocols in a structured format.
• Conduct in- depth research of the crypto market and analyze blockchain projects and token sales.
• Track trends in crypto market structure evolution, blockchain tech innovation and mainstream adoption
• Maintain databases tracking key indicators in the technology/ blockchain sectors
• Maintain a high-quality standard while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Work with other team members to peer review and provide feedback on reports.
• Gain a deep understanding of various relevant aspects of the crypto industry, including technology, legal, regulatory, economic, and protocol background details.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Interest in, and passion for, the crypto industry.
• Understanding of various aspects of protocols/networks and assets.
• Experience researching and writing up concise summaries of your findings.
• Impeccable attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality reports on a short deadline.
• Knowledge of various cryptocurrencies and digital assets in the market place
• Knowledge about crypto market structure and participants
• Ability to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze new blockchain startups through business model evaluations and tokenomics.
• Ability to synthesize complex topics and provide concise summaries for readers.
• Should know basics of python programming language.
• Nice to have: Previous experience in the crypto industry, especially in research.
• Min. 1 years of experience in technical, financial, security or analytical role
