Position Overview:
We are seeking a Web 3.0 Reporter who is passionate about decentralized technologies, blockchain, cryptocurrency, and the broader implications of Web 3.0. The ideal candidate will have a strong journalistic background, a keen interest in emerging technologies, and the ability to communicate complex topics in an accessible manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Research & Reporting:
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Web 3.0, blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, and related areas.
- Conduct interviews with industry experts, developers, and thought leaders.
- Generate insightful and engaging articles, features, and investigative pieces.
Content Creation:
- Produce high-quality written content for the Times of AI website, including news stories, analysis, opinion pieces, and features.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm and develop story ideas.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to journalistic standards in all published content.
Community Engagement:
- Engage with the Web 3.0 and AI communities through social media, forums, and events.
- Attend conferences, workshops, and seminars to stay connected with industry developments and network with key stakeholders.
Multimedia & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with multimedia teams to produce videos, podcasts, and other multimedia content.
- Participate in editorial meetings, pitch story ideas, and contribute to the overall content strategy of Times of AI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in journalism, preferably covering technology or finance.
- Strong understanding of Web 3.0, blockchain, cryptocurrency, and related technologies.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with SEO and digital publishing platforms is a plus.
