Gaming Web3 Jobs in North America

Talofa is seeking a blockchain developer for our new, in-development fitness game. We’re looking for someone passionate about working with a collaborative, remote-first team to develop gameplay around fitness and gaming – which is often uncharted and experimental. This individual will work with different team members (producers, artists, client, and audio engineers) to build web3 blockchain features for the game as well as work on server backend features.

Responsibilities:

• Developing blockchain features and server backend features for the game by working together with the production, art, audio, narrative, game design, and server and client teams
• Develop Smart Contracts that securely handle user data & assets over the blockchain
• Develop web3 functionality for games & web
• Create and maintain NFT marketplace
• Integrate web3 with wallet and game backend
• Attend engineering meetings with multiple members of the team

Requirements:

• Experience with building web3 applications
• Solid understanding of C# and typescript/javascript
• Able to self-learn new skills and keep up-to-date with the newest technologies
• Strong focus on performance and output of the game
• Fluent in English

Nice to have:

• Experience with building front-end for web3, possibly React
• Knowledgeable about web3 ecosystems (NFTs, exchanges etc.)
• A love for running or gamified fitness products and games for social impact
• Experience with the Unity engine
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure

We are a collective of gamers and fitness geeks! We would love to work with someone who has experience with multiplayer mobile games and loves working on experimental gameplay. Being passionate about the intersection of fitness and games is a huge plus! We’re looking for someone to drive the design and monetization of our game during the beta phase as well as through our global launch.
