Salary is 160k to 215k + bonus
We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with experience in blockchain technologies, specifically DAML or Solidity, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and deploying blockchain solutions, as well as experience with smart contracts and Python-based backend development. In this role, you will work closely with our product and development teams to design, build, and maintain innovative blockchain solutions that drive our business forward.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain blockchain-based applications using Python, DAML, or Solidity.
- Design and implement smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps) to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and ensure the scalability and security of blockchain solutions.
- Integrate blockchain platforms with existing backend systems and APIs.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code for blockchain-related features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in blockchain applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in blockchain technology, DAML, and Solidity.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
- Participate in the planning, design, and development of blockchain-based projects.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python development, including experience with libraries such as scikit-learn, Pandas, Flask, or Django.
- Hands-on experience with blockchain platforms, including smart contract development using DAML or Solidity.
- Familiarity with Ethereum, Hyperledger, or other blockchain platforms.
- Strong understanding of cryptography, consensus algorithms, and decentralized technologies.
- Experience with deploying and managing smart contracts on blockchain networks.
- Ability to write clear, maintainable, and efficient code with an emphasis on security and scalability.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software development best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with web3.js or other blockchain-related front-end technologies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
