About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of talented engineers, driving technical strategy, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with company goals and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Drive the technical strategy and roadmap for your team, ensuring alignment with company objectives
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize projects
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and maintenance
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions
  • Implement and continuously improve engineering processes and best practices
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and risks, and communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and provide technical guidance to the team
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the engineering organization as a whole

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams, ideally in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Strong technical background in software development, with expertise in one or more programming languages and frameworks
  • Experience architecting and building scalable, reliable, and performant systems
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and modern software development practices (e.g., CI/CD, DevOps)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to attract, retain, and develop top engineering talent
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proficient in Mandarin
