ABOUT THE ROLE

This position will be responsible for mission critical work on the team developing Eigen Layer’s web staking platform. We are seeking out game changing innovators who can drive innovation across the entire platform. Primary objectives will initially be focused on the optimization of multi-step asynchronous state management flows and decentralized RPC services.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems, optimized for speed and scale, to create technologies that power the world’s most innovative crypto projects.
• Constantly research/learn new concepts, ideas, and frameworks
• Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including system design, implementation, deployment and support.
• Collaborate with designers, front-end engineers and back-end engineers to design robust web2 components and APIs
• Proactively contribute to discussions about technical issues, sprint and roadmap planning, and improving team processes
• Engage in team design sessions, code reviews, standups, and agile development processes
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support our business-critical infrastructure

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field (e.g., physics or mathematics)
• 5+ years of professional software experience
• 2+ years with React, Go or other modern languages/frameworks
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Strong skills in unit, integration and end to end testing
• Track record of successfully delivering complex and high-scale software systems into production
• Familiarity with blockchain tech and Ethereum protocol

NICE TO HAVE

• Exposure to cloud technologies (managing keys and/or bootstrapping AWS environments)
• Understanding of smart contracts and decentralized protocols

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $225,000 - $250,000 is the annual base salary. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, EigenLabs provides various employee benefits, including:
