    • Develops a working knowledge of related People Operations domains, such as compensation, HRIS management, and compliance, to inform holistic decision-making.

Complexity and Impact of Work:

    • Independently defines priorities and applies problem-solving skills to manage the full lifecycle of moderately complex projects, such as annual open enrollment, benefits vendor transitions, or implementation of new global leave policies.
    • Responsible for ensuring compliance with evolving global leave and benefits regulations, mitigating risk, and safeguarding the firm's interests.
    • Works on diverse challenges requiring thoughtful analysis, such as complex leave cases or unique benefits exceptions, requiring sound judgment and decision-making with minimal supervision.

Organizational Knowledge:

    • Understands Anchorage’s strategic goals related to talent attraction, retention, and employee well-being, integrating them into benefits and leave program design and administration.
    • Clearly communicates how global benefits and leave strategies contribute to the department's priorities and the overall Villager experience.

    • Direct experience with Workday or Dayforce HRIS for benefits and leave administration.
    • Demonstrated experience supporting end-to-end global leave management, including understanding and applying complex multi-jurisdictional regulations.
    • Proven experience in global benefits administration, including vendor management, renewals, plan design, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
    • Strong understanding of relevant federal, state, and international employment laws pertaining to leave (e.g., FMLA, ADA, PFL) and benefits (e.g., ERISA, ACA, GDPR).
    • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy, crucial for managing intricate benefits and leave data.
    • Ability to work independently, define priorities, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and propose effective, creative solutions.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex policies clearly and professionally to all levels of the organization.
    • A collaborative mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to build effective relationships across teams and with external partners.
    • A strong commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and ethical conduct.

Although not a requirement, bonus points if:
