We’re looking for a communications & community manager with deep crypto expertise to join Sifchain communications team. This person will be responsible for driving awareness for Sifchain amongst the crypto and blockchain community and fostering relationships within the Sifchain user community. In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also support other parts of our communications function, including product launches on an ad-hoc basis.
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
Manage online communities, including building relationships with community members, answering product-related questions, and acting as the “face” of Sifchain for the Sifchain community on a day-to-day basis
In partnership with markting and communications, build and execute on a proactive communications plan to drive awareness for Sifchain and our products within the crypto and blockchain communities.
Ensure Sifchain is represented at relevant key crypto events, especially online events
Support the development of positive narratives about Sifchain for groups both inside and outside of the project
Be available to all members of the communications team to share your experience and help with all facets of the company’s communications plan as needed.
Strong interest in and familiarity with crypto technology and the community.
Passion for building relationships and growing communities online
A demonstrated ability to understand complex subject matter, along with the skills needed to simplify and explain these topics for a broad audience of stakeholders, both beginner and advanced
Ability to confidently represent Sifchain to a variety of parties
Ability to provide support to community members on a variety of DeFi usage topics, and pointing them to relevant resources when appropriate
Native to social media platforms, especially Telegram and Discord.
Stellar writing: language that is clear and concise, with an eye toward eliminating jargon.
Strategic mindset: You should bring creative solutions to every problem and never see a challenge as insurmountable.
Grace under fire: community management + crypto equals a fast-paced working environment. You should be unflappable at crunch time.

1 - 3 years relevant work experience at either a community management agency, a customer service agency, or an in-house communications team.
Passionate about Crypto – Potentially recent graduates
An understanding of the regulatory, security and technical landscapes influencing the state of cryptocurrency today (and keen to stay UpToDate to take on those of tomorrow).
Experience with financial tech or traditional financial services.
