ABOUT THE ROLE

Radley James is working with a leading algorithmic trading firm within the digital assets space, currently expanding its US presence and looking to hire an OTC Sales Trader in New York.

This role will sit within a high-performing trading team focused on OTC spot and derivatives products across digital assets. The position offers strong exposure to market making, liquidity provision and institutional trading counterparties within a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take ownership of OTC trading activity during US hours, including trade pricing, execution and relationship management with institutional counterparties

• Work closely with senior traders on larger and more complex OTC trades across spot and derivatives products

• Support the growth of the OTC business by contributing to sales strategy and expanding trading relationships

• Monitor market developments and provide relevant market colour, commentary and insights to counterparties

• Evaluate and manage trading risk across OTC activity

• Represent the firm at conferences, networking events and industry gatherings


REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance or Engineering

• Previous experience within OTC sales trading or institutional trading environments

• Strong understanding of OTC spot trading markets; derivatives knowledge is highly beneficial

• Strong quantitative, analytical and risk management capabilities

• Interest in digital assets, blockchain and DeFi markets

• Experience within HFT, market making or algorithmic trading environments would be advantageous

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, startup->
