Backend / Blockchain Engineer – Java / Spring / Web3
We are working with a leading global financial institution seeking a talented Backend Blockchain Engineer to join the core engineering team building their next-generation Digital Platform.
This is an exciting opportunity for a software engineer with enterprise application experience to work at the intersection of blockchain technology, Web3, and financial services, developing secure, scalable solutions for digital asset applications.
You will play a key role in designing and delivering backend services, solving complex engineering challenges, and collaborating with a global team of engineers to build enterprise-grade blockchain-enabled applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver backend applications using Java & Spring
- Build scalable enterprise solutions leveraging blockchain and digital asset technologies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Apply best practices across architecture, design patterns, reliability, and performance
- Support technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement
Key Requirements:
- Strong backend development experience with Java & Spring
- Experience building enterprise-grade web applications
- Understanding of blockchain, Web3 infrastructure, and digital assets
- Experience with Web3 libraries (Web3J/Web3JS), Solidity, or smart contracts is highly desirable
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerised applications is a plus
- Financial services experience is advantageous
