YO (yo.xyz) is the yield engine for the crypto economy. It is a unified layer that connects capital to the best risk-adjusted yield across DeFi. It’s the last vault you’ll ever need. YO continuously reallocates assets across DeFi to maximize yield. You deposit and YO does the rest.

YO is backed by Paradigm, Haun, Hack VC, Solana and Circle and built by the exponential.fi team.

We are looking for an experienced back-end web3 engineer to take YO to the next level. This role is ideal if you love problem solving, thrive in a high ambiguity fast paced environment and want to architect the transition from web2 to web3.

This role is fully remote.

The Opportunity

  • Ownership to build the most comprehensive multichain yield platform

  • Help define the future of on-chain yield

  • Start with us from ground zero

Who you are

  • 3+ years of experience building and releasing production grade web3 backend systems

  • Strong experience integrating with protocols and smart contracts including managing complex transaction flows and interacting with RPC nodes

  • Deep understanding of EVM fundamentals, smart contract best practices and current industry patterns

  • Experience with popular tools and libraries (e.g. Tenderly, ethers, viem, wagmi)

  • Perseverance to figure out the solution to any problem you encounter

  • Biased towards action with ability to work autonomously, and thrive in high-ambiguity environments

  • Passion for building products that matter to customers

  • Passion for building secure and robust infrastructure

Nice to have

  • Prior experience deploying smart contracts to mainnet and EVM compatible chains
