We are driven by innovation and are seeking a skilled Product Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing new product features to improve the platform performance and meet expectation of users. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our platform, ensuring it meets the highest standards of performance, reliability, and security.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of consumer Internet (ideally with experience at big consumer Internet companies) and crypto markets (ideally with experience at CEXes, DEXes and launchpads, but not necessary). As the Product Manager, you'll spearhead efforts to expand our market presence, secure strategic partnerships, and contribute to the company's long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy & Vision: Define the vision and roadmap for crypto-based products, aligning them with user needs and market opportunities
• Market Research: Analyze market trends, user behavior, and competitor products to identify opportunities and define product features.
• Product Development: Collaborate with engineers, designers, and blockchain developers to manage the full product lifecycle, including ideation, development, testing, and launch.
• User-Centric Focus: Gather and analyze feedback from the community, users, and developers to improve product offerings continuously.
• GTM Strategy: Lead product launches, working closely with marketing, sales, and developer relations teams to drive adoption and growth.
• Thought Leadership: Act as a thought leader, helping to elevate Pond’s presence in the crypto AI space through thought pieces, speaking engagements, and public representation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3+ years) of product management in big consumer facing Internet companies (for example, Tiktok)
• Experience at leading crypto companies (CEX, DEX, launchpad and so on)
• Understanding of blockchain technologies and protocols, smart contracts, DeFi and AI-powered crypto applications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex crypto concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong attention to detail and genuine passion for product development. Views product research and user experience as an engaging hobby.
• Familiarity with AI tech stack, machine / deep learning, on-chain behavior analysis, or crypto-native AI models is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed (major industrial conferences only).
• Previous experience working as an investor is a plus.
• Ideally speak English and Mandarin Chinese fluently (some of our engineers speak Mandarin Chinese)
