📌 Full-Stack Developer – Java + Apache Camel - Contractor - Remote Kick off your next career move with Launchpad! We're looking for a experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong hands-on background in Java development, database management, and additional skills in web services and cloud solutions. 🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing
Develop robust and scalable software applications using Java, with a preference for version 11 or above. Design and manage relational (PostgreSQL) and/or document databases, including data modeling and querying using SQL. Actively participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Make sure applications are free of common coding vulnerabilities (and follow standard security practices). Collaborate effectively with cross-geographical teams that include developers, testers, and product managers. Positively contribute to the improvement of the team’s quality, efficiency, and capability. Follow and contribute to your teams’ processes, best practices, methodologies, and guidelines.
✅ What You Need to Succeed Must-haves
5+ years of hands-on experience with building secure, scalable, performant, Java/Spring applications. (Version 11 and above.) Experience working with spring boot is required Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and/or document databases, including data modeling and SQL querying. Advanced proficiency in English.
Nice-to-haves
Knowledge/experience in Apache Camel/Integration including basic routing, error handling, split-aggregate, and dynamic routing. Knowledge of web services protocols (SOAP, JSON, Rest API). Understanding and experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) Knowledge of Angular, React, Struts, or similar front-end technologies Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Relevant certifications.
