The Research team and affiliates includes top domain experts in applied cryptography, distributed systems, smart-contract security, system security and other disciplines.Â
Chainlink Labs is seeking a Research Engineer in the areas of applied cryptography, distributed systems, and security. Experience in blockchain, privacy-enhancing technologies, secure multi-party computation (MPC) or trusted execution environments (TEEs) is a plus..

- Participate in defining a research agenda and driving research projects to concretely impact the success of Chainlink’s vision of building a world powered by truth
- Conceptualize, design, analyze and prove correct the next generation of Chainlink's systems
- Pursue fundamental research informed by the company's roadmap and enhance company visibility and interaction with the scientific community
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in relevant fields
- Established expert with publications, blogs, presentation, or leadership roles
- Applied and hands-on experience participating in developing innovative products, production solutions, and/or empirical and data driven analysis, are strongly preferredÂ
- Strong collaboration skills, working well with cross-disciplinary team of autonomous researchers
