About Illuvium
Illuvium Labs is an independent game development studio based in Sydney, Australia. We develop blockchain based games for the Illuvium DAO. We have developed a strong culture of independence with our team, preferring candidates who can articulate their own vision and goals. We operate almost entirely remotely so each team member designs their own hours and work schedule. In the end all that matters is the delivered product. Responsibilities

Develop test plans, test data and test cases - prioritizing these activities

Analyzing the system and ensuring the test strategy is aligned with the requirements of the development process

Identify defects and report them accurately with the necessary info, and follow the internal QA guidelines

Conduct manual testing of a website functionalities

Detects, logs, and reports program bugs and glitches

Track defects and helps troubleshoot errors

Communicate effectively on test executions in regards with scope, impact and priority.

Participate in project related meetings and ceremonies and keep the team updated about progress, impact of the issues found, future concerns, etc.
Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of QA testing experience (Web Products)

Experience in Agile frameworks and able to improve/follow QA processes

Able to understand and manage given priorities

Able to estimate if the task deadlines are realistic and give feedback to the proper stakeholders

Able to quickly adapt to testing tools and techniques in accordance with the projectâÂÂs complexities and requirements

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong critical thinking

Proficient in Jira, Confluence, x-ray/testrail(or similar tools), Google suite
-
Strong understanding of a bug lifecycle

Familiar with basic programming languages

Willing to learn and pursuit Automated tests and processes
Preferred Qualifications

Passionate about new technologies and AAA games
-
Basic experience working with automation tools like Selenium, Postman, SoapUI and able to work in a CI/CD flow (Git, Jenkins, etc.)

Able to understand web technologies such as REST, SOAP, JSON and XML
-
Basic frontend and/or API automation.

ISTQB certification is a plus (from Foundation level upwards)

Interested in blockchain technology and has some knowledge in this area
