About The Role:
We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Jenkins Consultant to join Shardeum’s engineering team on a short-term contract to help us overhaul our Jenkins pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Modernize, reconfigure and optimize our current Jenkins pipelines to make our CI/CD tool more efficient and effective
- Work closely with our development and tooling teams to streamline our software development lifecycle from inception to deployment
- Work with our testing team to automate testing frameworks to ensure the quality of software releases
- Provide training and guidance to team members on CI/CD practices and tools
Requirements:
- Extensive experience with Jenkins, including writing Jenkins files and managing Jenkins plugins.
- Proficiency in configuration management and automation tools
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in working with large codebases
- Strong understanding of all phases of the SDLC
- Passionate about CI/CD, Jenkins and automated testing
- Exposure to a Node.js, TypeScript, SQLite, Postgres, React and Vue.js tech stack
- Exposure to a Linux, Git, AWS, Docker and VSCode development environment
Nice to Have:
- Keen interest in blockchain and decentralized technologies
