About The Role
Weâre looking for a Lead Full-Stack Engineer to spearhead the overhaul of our product experience and monetization systems. Youâll be in the driverâs seat architecting, designing, and implementing systems that directly influence our product, revenue, and customer impact.
This is not a narrow-scope engineering role. Youâll own systems from front to back that, in most companies, would span across multiple teams. From day one, youâll have the mandateâand the runwayâto level up our engineering stack.
This is a high-ownership, high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, breadth, and the challenge of building foundational infrastructure at startup speed. You'll work directly with the founders, product owners, and your team to deliver mission-critical features with immediate user and business impact.
Youâll also be leading a fast-growing team, and depending on your goals, youâll have a clear path toward either Staff+ IC roles or Engineering Leadership.
This is a remote position (North America) reporting to the Head of Engineering, giving you high visibility and influence across the business.
What You'll Do:
- Architect and optimize complex systems that span across the frontend (Next, React, TypeScript) and the backend (AWS, TypeScript, Go)
- Integrate complex backend systems (billing, monetization, product enablement) into customer-facing applications
- Collaborate directly with founders and product owners to translate requirements into well-architected solutions
- Optimize application performance across the entire stack
- Drive technical decisions around frontend architecture, state management, and API design
- Influence our technical roadmap, provide mentorship and help build a strong engineering culture
- Step outside of your role as needed to close gaps and keep product development moving fast
- Ensure system scalability, performance, and reliability across the stack
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience in production environments
- Strong frontend experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript (2+ years)
- Senior-level backend experience with Go, TypeScript, or similar languages (3+ years)
- Experience building and scaling APIs (REST or GraphQL).
- Experience with database design and optimization
- Strong system design and architecture skills
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and DevOps principles
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, execute at speed, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Track record of mentoring other engineers and improving team processes
- Ability to thrive in a high-velocity startup and work across teams
- Experience building or maintaining billing/monetization systems.
- Previous startup and/or web3 experience
- Familiarity with Rust or low-level systems (weâll train you where needed)
- Solana development experience
- Understanding of web security best practices
- High-impact work: Your code will power applications used by millions across the Solana ecosystem, including Coinbase, Jupiter, and Phantom.
- Cutting-edge tech: Build with React, Next.js, Go, and web3 systems - plus get hands-on exposure to Rust and blockchain infrastructure.
- Ownership & growth: Lead critical initiatives, mentor engineers, and influence architecture from day one.
- Remote-first flexibility: Work where youâre most productive, with flexible hours and a fully distributed team.
- Competitive comp & perks: Market-leading salary, meaningful equity, generous vacation, wellness budgets, and support for learning and travel.
- Mission-driven team: Join ambitious builders who move fast, take ownership, and are shaping the future of decentralized apps.
