Who We Are
As a graduateAI Scientist/Engineerwill be a member of the core end-to-end AI team, from BI to AI. You will be responsible for democratising insights into our core businesses, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, measure and understand key metrics, influencing business strategy and product roadmap through data, deliver analysis reports and models, empower our products and services with data-driven and AI-driven approaches, and significantly impact the business. You will collaborate closely with the engineering team, product team and other stakeholders in defining the data collection needs, the data schema, the data analysis, the model training and the model deployment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Be a problem solver and work on large-scale structured and unstructured data sets to solve a wide range of challenging problems in recommendation, natural language processing, computer vision, and fraud detection domains, using analytical, statistical, machine learning or deep learning approaches.
- Be part of the AI team and work together with senior data scientists to understand stakeholders' business needs and challenges, design and deploy ML solutions to meet business objectives and support business decision-making.
- Pursue excellence and improve existing machine learning solutions by utilising new data sources and the latest SOTA models, develop and test enhancements with AB test or computational experiments.
- Follow best engineering practices and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
What We Look For In You:
- Bachelors in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or self-taught enthusiasts.
- Solid understanding of common machine learning models, deep learning models, statistical models, and computer science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures and complexity analysis.
- Solid experience with Python(Pandas, Numpy, Scikit Learn, Matplotlib, PyTorch, Tensorflow etc.), SQL(window, aggregate, join, etc.) and Common Terminal Commands.
- Self-driven, innovative, collaborative, with good communication and presentation skills, able to translate between business and technical audiences.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in an analytical or data scientist role involving feature extraction, big data analysis with Hadoop/Hive/Spark/HBase, and modelling in FinTech, eCommerce, AdTech, or Digital Wallet business industries.
- Master or Ph.D. in Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Mining, Computer Vision, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or other quantitative fields.
