We are looking for a VP of Product who will help shape product vision, execute timely product launches, work across marketing, engineering, design, customer support and help change the private market investing for many years to come!
Responsibilities:
- This position will be accountable for the successful development of the functional product details driving the core engineering team’s development work
- Working closely with the firm Founders and engineering team, ensure a market leading web3 platform For the right person, this role will include more significant product oversight as the firm company evolves and grows
- Managing business side requirements for the enterprise platform Develop the high-level product road map, listing out the functionalities to be completed within the broader time frames
- Breaking down the specific details for the next set of development work to be completed and ensure those details and business requirements supporting them, are included within Confluence for use by the engineers;
- Market competitive landscape review – be knowledgeable on competitor platform capabilities and their strengths and weaknesses;
- Come up with creative and market leading ideas that contribute to the product value proposition
- Represent product management for purposes of budgeting and planning on a firm-wide level
- Create user stories and technical requirements for new trading products Interfaces with internal and external audiences and responds to product-related questions and data requests
- Design and maintain release notes, create technical content to help our marketing team reach technical audiences
- Primary driver for identifying significant opportunities and accelerating product vision, strategies and roadmaps
- Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
- Identifies significant product, organizational, and process opportunities and drives them to fruition often without explicit direction and resourcing
Qualifications: -
- 5+ years’ experience managing technical program delivery using common (e.g. scrum, agile) management structures, with direct involvement in requirements analysis, documentation, quality assurance and resource allocation
- 5+ years experience working in fintech or marketplaces
- Sufficient technical competency to be able to work with a multi-disciplinary team on a variety of technical issues
- Familiarity with financial trading applications (traditional stocks and equities, crypto currencies or other markets)
- A solid understanding of modern web-application technologies
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with internal and external development teams
- Understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrency principles and technologies
- Demonstrable technical writing experience
- Experience working with regulated applications (preferably financial)
- Experience with security testing and auditing, load/performance testing and test automation would also be beneficial.
