We are looking for a proactive and experienced Trade Support Associate/Senior Associate to anchor our Middle Office operations. As we scale our centralized exchange platform and OTC product offerings, we aim to strengthen the internal controls on /and support for Front Office’s activities. You will ensure that ensuring OTC structured product trades are accurately booked and settled by Front Office.

In addition, you will support Front Office on onboarding with Liquidity Providers/DEX/CEX and coordination with market data providers. This role requires a good understanding of end-to-end trade lifecycle, from onboarding to trade execution and finally, trade settlement. This is a "foundational" hire: you will take our existing framework and transform it into a robust, automated, and scalable operational workflow.

What you'll be doing:

  • Perform daily and timely checks and reconciliation on Front Office’s OTC structured products trade booking and settlement

  • Promptly identify, highlight and resolve trade breaks or pricing or other discrepancies

  • Work with Middle Office Product Control – P&L and Trading desks to understand and resolve trade issues/discrepancies

  • Identify, escalate and resolve risks and issues arising from front office/trading desks activities

  • Perform onboarding with Liquidity providers/CEX/DEX and support front office’s subsequent service requests

  • Initiate and coordinate with market data providers/brokers/exchanges to obtain market data for front office/trading desks

  • Participate in the transition to and implementation of new trading systems/aggregators.

  • Identify gaps in existing manual workflows and propose automated and scalable alternatives

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement automated solutions for trade booking/settlement reconciliation and regulatory reporting

  • Update Trade Support’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new and existing OTC products and trade support-related activities

  • Ensure platform integrity by monitoring order book health and adhering to internal risk frameworks

  • Participate in operational risk management for trade support.

  • Any other adhoc duties assigned by supervisor

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in Trade Support or Middle Office from a high-frequency trading shop, a retail bank, or another CEX with a good understanding of how money and assets move

  • Good understanding of order books, trade matching engines, trade booking and settlement. Experience with OTC structured products will be advantageous

  • Familiarity with MAS AML/CFT requirements for onboarding with Liquidity Providers/brokers

  • Strong command of SQL for data extraction and a high level of proficiency in Excel including VBA Macro

  • Ability to write Python scripts to automate workflows is a significant advantage.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving; you don't wait for instructions when you see a process that can be improved

  • Ability to work in a start-up environment where processes are manual but are evolving and continuously improving as we scale up
