Dfinity is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join our innovative team. As a key member of our organization, you will contribute to building intelligent, decentralized, and autonomous governance systems (DAOs) for the Internet Computer. This role will allow you to work on some of the most advanced and active DAOs. It is designed for engineers who are driven by a passion for cutting-edge technology and eager to make a significant impact in the realm of decentralized networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement decentralized governance systems for the Internet Computer using cutting-edge technologies.
- Collaborate closely with development and research teams in DFINITY and the wider ICP community to improve the governance systems.
- Design, develop, and optimize endpoints for various clients interacting and integrating with the governance systems.
- Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations.
- Contribute to large-scale distributed systems projects and governance tools with innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Proficiency in systems software languages such as C, C++, or Rust. Our distributed systems components are written in Rust, and we’re committed to training if that’s a skill set you’re looking to build.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth integration with our governance systems
Nice-to-have
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technologies.
* Please note that this role requires in-office work from our amazing office in Zurich 3 days per week.
