Trust Machines is looking to hire a Bitcoin core developer to contribute to Bitcoin core and collaborate on Bitcoin software maintenance and development. In this role you’ll collaborate with the broader Bitcoin community, assist in technical assessment and implementation of BIPs, and join the Trust Machines team as an expert and advisor in Bitcoin development. This role is part researcher, part teacher, and provides a lot of room for independence, self sufficiency, and creativity.
What You’ll Do:
- Work on Bitcoin and Lightning development
- Experience with and commitment to the open source Bitcoin ethos
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive experience in C/C++. Interest in learning Rust.
- Deep knowledge of the crypto space and underlying technologies
- Experience with automated testing and unit tests
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Advanced knowledge of cryptography concepts
- Strong communication skills
- Sense of ownership and independence
