(Senior) Backend Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs for multiple Animoca Brands projects.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of backend services.
- Optimize and refactor existing codebases for performance and maintainability.
- Integrate with cloud services (AWS, RDS, Redis, Postgres) and manage cloud infrastructure as needed.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across various projects.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development and cloud services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong backend engineering skills with hands-on experience in Node.js, PHP, Spring, and Scala.
- Proficiency in cloud services: AWS, Postgres, RDS, Redis.
- Experience with Golang and Python is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and database management.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
