About the Role:

21Shares is eager to hire an intern to support the Sales/Distribution team with a focus on the US markets, contributing to the growth of assets under management (AUM) and expanding our institutional client base. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting sales planning and outbound acquisition strategies, managing customer relationship management (CRM) data, conducting research and competitive analysis, and preparing institutional client materials. In addition, you will monitor client queries and participate in ETF and digital asset research training sessions.

This role is considered an entry-level position with the opportunity to grow within the company. Your role is to support 21Shares' growing business in The US and establish us as the number one solution in the digital asset space.

Key Responsibilities and Scope:

  • Provide support for the Sales team with a focus on US institutional markets
  • You will work in an international and multicultural environment, where you will contribute to AUM growth and expansion of our institutional client universe
  • Your focus is to support US growth initiatives, with a focus on outbound acquisition strategies and sales planning
  • Populate and maintain up-to-date customer data in the CRM system and contribute to continuous improvement of customer experience
  • Conduct desk research and competitive analysis
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Research, Capital Markets, and Portfolio Management team and assist in preparing sales collateral and client materials
  • Monitor incoming client queries via the team inbox/CRM
  • Participate in research training sessions focused on ETF markets and digital assets
  • Provide back-up for other country teams and contribute to the team ethos across the firm

The Ideal Candidate is:

  • Recent graduate or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • Passionate and client-centric, with a desire to contribute to growing an extraordinary business at the forefront in the digital assets space
  • Driven and motivated to contribute to building an extraordinary business
  • Client-focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to think outside the box
  • Interest and experience in crypto, as well as ETPs, traditional finance
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and navigate/coordinate with various groups within the organization

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work onsite 2-3 days a week in our New York office
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Highly motivated team player
  • Bonus: Coursework or participation in blockchain

This role is based in New York City and will be expected to work from our New York office in a hybrid model Monday - Wednesday.

(NYC only) Pursuant to Section 8-102 of title 8 of the New York City administrative code, the base salary range for this role is $25 - $30 an hour. Total compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
