About the Role

As a Senior UI Designer, you’ll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams made up of UX designers, product owners, engineers, and more. This role is responsible for supporting the product design team initiatives at all levels from concept to production.

What You’ll Do

  • Produce high-fidelity UI elements by balancing beautiful aesthetics with functional clarity
  • Evolving our design system and facilitate its adoption
  • Integrate Figure brand and visual identity into product features and user flows
  • Work with our dev team to ensure that our designs are launched with pixel perfection

What We Look For

  • 4+ years of experience as a UI designer working on web interfaces and interactions
  • Experience creating and evolving an existing design system
  • An extensive online portfolio of design work showcasing your role in creating delightful and well-crafted experiences with a solid understanding of design systems
  • Proficient in modern creative tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, etc
  • Strong sense of design principles, hierarchy, typography, layout, and conceptual skills
  • Have experience creating design systems, product guidelines, and brand guidelines
  • Enjoy delivering pixel-perfect user interfaces and components, including iconography sets, with an eye towards modularity and flexibility
  • Prioritize positive customer experiences above your design vision
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication, design leadership, and presentation and storytelling skills

For CO, NY, CA and WA residents, the salary range for this position is $105,600 - $132,000/year with a 25% Bonus and Equity. Actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience and location.

In web3, a product designer is responsible for designing and creating decentralized applications (dApps) and other products that leverage blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized networks

This involves understanding the unique technical and functional requirements of web3 products, as well as the principles of decentralization, transparency, and user ownership

Web3 product designers need to be familiar with blockchain technology, smart contract programming languages, and decentralized networks, in order to design products that can operate effectively in a decentralized environment

They need to be able to work with developers and other stakeholders to ensure that the product is designed in a way that maximizes user control and ownership, while minimizing the potential for fraud or malicious activity

Web3 product designers may work on a range of products, such as decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms, non-fungible token (NFT) marketplaces, decentralized social networks, and more

They may also work closely with blockchain developers, economists, and other specialists to create products that are both innovative and practical, while maintaining a strong focus on user experience.
