About this Role
Design sits at the center of everything we do at Metaplex Studios. This is an opportunity to create (or really invent) the first consumer experiences of Web3. Product Design at Metaplex is about leveraging this unique point in internet history to scale crypto experiences to millions of internet users.
At Metaplex Studios, our team will rely on your judgement for key product design and brand decisions. You’ll be designing products that shape the future for thousands of creators, developers, musicians, artists, influencers and other members of our community.
What You'll Do
- Design consumer NFT experiences and more by leveraging your design expertise and deep understanding of users.
- Own strategy and execution of user experiences through cross-functional meetings, documentation, UI flows, >
- Advocate for our users and their needs in meetings with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Social, Content, Business, and our external VIP partners in music, gaming, and media.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to create and execute a product roadmap that delivers value to our users and expands the Metaplex ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Visual Design to produce a standout brand and design materials for product launches, announcements, campaigns, events, VIP partners, and more.
- 5+ years of experience in Product Design roles with exposure to direct-to-consumer products.
- Strong background in design process including requirements gathering and prioritization, user flows, designing layouts and key interactions, and delivering final designs.
- Attention to detail, delivering thoughtful interactions and pixel perfect designs to engineering.
- Track record of shipping complex web and mobile flows to users through partnership with Product and Engineering Teams.
- Excellent at working in a startup environment where designers are produced quickly when the situation calls for it.
- You are comfortable with thinking about ecosystems, including how solutions from our partners will fit in to the overall user experience.
- Willing to handle ambiguity, can solve difficult design problems autonomously, and skilled at leveraging team all while keeping everyone in the loop.
- A pillar of your process is consistent design reviews. You believe world class design is a result of a team effort.
