We’ve recently raised $150M to realize this vision, build Bitcoin apps, and the open-source technologies required to unleash the true potential of Bitcoin for DeFi and Decentralized Applications.About The Opportunity We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Leather wallet team at Trust Machines, and help scale the software driving it. This role is critical in building a premier user experience for the Stacks ecosystem, fostering an engaged user base, and broadening the wallet’s capabilities within the Bitcoin realm. What You’ll Do:
Build reliable, tested services to support our growing product suite Improve our developer tooling, making it effortless to build apps with Leather Collaborate with other engineers on our growing package-based monorepo
What We’re Looking For:
7+ years experience building consumer software, and a start up mindset Preference for remote, open source work Located within GMT −5 and +3 Strong proficiency with Typescript Understanding of cryptographic concepts Experience designing and implementing performant, high-availability APIs An automator, using CI and other tools to minimise manual work Ability to design and communicate scalable and maintainable software architectures Opinionated on software design patterns, and able to mentor others Excitement to work in the crypto industry
We’d Also Like to See:
Familiarity with React, web or native Experience building software for a developer audience Knowledgable about Bitcoin or other blockchains
