Job Description

Elwood is seeking a Treasury Operations Specialist with digital asset experience to join the treasury team in London. You will work closely with the broader finance team, trade support team and global execution traders to assist with fiat & cryptocurrency deposits and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding of clients, ensure all required accounts are open and settlement protocols have been tested for each wallet type under the clients SSI’s.
• Daily settlement of cryptocurrency trading activity between Elwood and our clients.
• Input payments within banking platforms to settle fiat.
• Diligently identify and resolve breaks in balances and transactions.
• Monitoring and managing collateral and margin levels on venues.
• Design and maintain control policy.
• Monitoring and managing counterparty exposure. Assist in design, implementation and maintenance of liquidity risk framework.
• Maintain a pulse on the sentiment, trading activity and be able to be proactive with assisting internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to a strong working relationship with banking, exchange, and custody partners.
• Monitoring in conjunction with our trade support team all movements pre-post trade.
• Understand and analyse business needs to continually identify areas for process improvement. Partner with Products and Software Engineering teams to enhance Elwood’s product offering and streamline Treasury’s daily operations.
• To maintain a detailed knowledge of all relevant systems, keep abreast of changes to such systems and undertake training as and when required.
• Stay up to date with, regulatory changes, current market practice and internal procedures to ensure that all dealings on behalf of stakeholders are in compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.

Experience required include:

• Experience with investment products and trading on crypto exchanges in spot and derivatives.
• General cryptocurrency concepts, distributed ledger, blockchains, protocols.
• A foundation knowledge of securities and markets.
• Good SQL and demonstrable data analysis skills.
• Strong numeracy.
• Basic financial risk management exposure: market, credit, regulatory.
• A correct understanding information security. Secure communication, basic cryptography: public/private keys, 2 factor authentication, secret management.
• Maintains and promotes high ethical standards by demonstrating honesty, integrity, and fair dealing, at all times, internally and externally, promoting and enhancing the good reputation of the business
• Effective communicator with strong emotional intelligence
• 2 or more years of experience in a detail-orientated background where attention to detail is of the utmost priority.
• Motivation to succeed and deliver results in line with expectations
