Your mission will be to help the Gamium team tech area by joining our technical area as Senior DevOps engineer.  As a key member of the engineering team, you would be expected to come with good experience and knowledge from previous unity developing roles. With the support of more senior members of the company you would be expected to further develop your skills and knowledge, while at the same time helping to mentor then members of the team. While we are not expecting you to come in with full architecture plans, your ideas will be listened to from day one.

What will your contribution be?   Our infrastructure area enables Gamium development and maintains services that support the health of the most exciting social decentralized metaverse in the world. As a DevOps Engineer, you will help us build the Gamium infrastructure with GCP, ensure reliable work of internal and customer-facing services, and empower the entire engineering organization to do their best work.   The purpose of this role is to help the team with development and maintenance of our Data platform both on Google Cloud and other suppliers. This will include design and implementation of the strategy as we rapidly scale our data capabilities as well as maintenance and continuous improvements of the platform. The role will help build the GCP infrastructure that will support the existing Data Team in their function and will assist the team SMEs in launching and maintaining all our services.   Your impact:   - Understanding and experience with GCP security best practices - Develop and deploy new services (Infra as Code) - Monitor and maintain appliances, data pipelines, blockchain nodes in production environment - Experience with managed data storages (MySQL, Firebase, Redis …) is a must - Establish backup, reliability and disaster recovery strategy for data services - Plan and Implement CI/CD best practices   Desired Qualifications:   - Experience working with GCP. Knowledge of other clouds is a plus, - Experience with CI/CD, GitOps. You know how to deploy your services reliably and have used related tools to achieve that, - Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible Kubernetes, helm. Experience with deploying and supporting managed kubernetes clusters (GKE), helm charts development is a plus. - Experience with monitoring solutions and central logging. Dashboards, alerts development (Prometheus, Grafana, GCP Logging, Splunk …) Python, bash, Powershell … you should be able to develop scripts on a daily basis - You are an excellent Linux administrator - Experience deploying and maintaining Data Projects, you understand how data pipelines operate and what are the typical SLAs involved - Experience with NGNIX, WSGI/ASGI , distributed task managers (Celery), AMPQ clusters (RabbitMQ) or similar services   Requirements:   - Excitement for blockchain, Web 3.0, and similar decentralized technologies. - Willingness to both learn and share your knowledge with others. - Capability to work remotely in a distributed team. - Ability to work under pressure, we’re a fast paced startup, you’ll be working on many different things day to day. - A strong desire to grow and challenge yourself. While this role is mainly focused on maintenance, we would expect you to constantly find ways to improve and automate services under your purview. - Strong communication skills. You can give and receive constructive feedback, and you do not shy away from planning meetings and code reviews.
