The Role of COO:

FreedX is seeking a results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee our daily operations and drive operational excellence. The COO will be responsible for managing the operational aspects of our cryptocurrency exchange, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and experience in the cryptocurrency or financial services industry. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Operational Strategy: Develop and implement operational strategies to support the company’s growth and objectives. 

• Process Improvement: Continuously improve operational processes and systems for efficiency and scalability. 

• Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards. 

• Risk Management: Oversee operational risk management and ensure business continuity. 

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage the operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. 

• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management. 

• Collaboration: Work closely with other senior leaders to ensure alignment and coordination across all functions. 

Qualifications and Experience: 

Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a COO or senior operations role in the cryptocurrency or financial services industry. 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operational Management, Finance etc

Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) are a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong operational and strategic planning skills. 

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities. 

• In-depth knowledge of operational processes and regulatory requirements. 

• Proficiency in operational software and tools. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
